I started my career working as a social worker in Nottingham delivering support in community mental health and the Motherhood and Mental Health team. Following this I moved to the Complaints Team at Nottinghamshire County Council, trained as a Mediator and dealt with all levels of conflict resolution.
Following a career break, I joined the Social Prescribing Team in June 2020 with renewed energy and passion for helping my local population. I love working to link patients to wider support in their communities. I am amazed at how resilient people are and that giving some time and advice can enhance their potential and wellbeing. My particular interest is truly collaborative working, with clear communication and agreed goals, always putting the person at the centre of everything we do.
